Ohio University's National Science Teachers Association is hosting a 5k.

OUNSTA is a student organization for those who aspire to be a science teacher. We are a chapter of the national organization whose aim is to form a community of science educators.

​

OUNSTA is hosting a 5k to raise money for a local non-profit called Rural Action. Their mission is to promote social, economic, and environmental justice by training, organizing and supporting communities. Their work is about developing the region’s many assets in environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable ways. They do this by focusing on sectors identified as important by their members: food and agriculture, forestry, zero waste and recycling, environmental education, and watershed restoration.

Our 5k is aiming to raise money for Rural Action in hopes of contributing to their mission.
